better way to tint side windows and not being caught

how to deal with tinted side windows and being caught. i got caught last week at westminister hwy. and no.3

i paid for 80 to do the inspection but i still want to put it on again.

better ideas?

or did anyone have it on for a long time and not being caught or noticed?

keep your windows roll down other than that you can't really get away with it. Is just like speeding.... you can only hope they don't catch you.

I hate going to richmond, the cops there are assholes, I've only been stopped once for my tinted windows and it was in richmond, luckily for me It was a nice lady cop and It was night time, i told her that it looks darker at night time but during the day time you could see through my windows fine, like Bob said just keep your windows down, I usually drive with my windows down every chance I get. 1.) wear sun glasses... Smile

2.) it limits your vision, there is a reason why is illegal to tint the side windows. Very Happy

commercial grade tinting are the way to go.. they are not the same as the metal based tint that most people have. Normal metal based tint is like a piece of sticker with metal "beads" in between to use for blocking the sunlight.. the commercial grade tints are highly reflective when sun hits it, but at night it's very clear; because it's not metal based it's a lot thinner (also lighter) and that it has a softer texture compare to normal tint. It won't be as dark as like a limo tint where it's so thick thanks to the large amount of metal mixed inside that it's dark 24/7... the commercial grade tint cuts out the glare/uv makes things a lot more visible and stay relatively clear at night.. basicaly if you want a "performace" tint, commercial grade tinting is the way to go.. but if you just want dark tint all the time, just get normal tints.

i don't know who carries the commercial grade tint in the 604 area, price range is ~2-4 times more than normal tinting.
